Prince Andrew will not return to public life in any capacity, because the controversial royal figure remains strictly limited to private tasks, said a royal expert.

In this file, on March 05, 2020, the British prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex (L), and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex leave after having attended the Endeavour Fund Awards at the Mansion House in London.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has quashed rumours that Prince Andrew could launch a controversial return to representing the Royal Family during public appearances. The Duke of York has been prevented from appearing as a working member of the Royal Family following a series of concerning revelations that involved alleged historical sexual abuse. The Prince has strictly denied the allegations against him but has still been stripped of his patronages and forced to take a far more private approach to his royal position.  Speaking to the Daily Express, Mr Fitzwilliams said: “We can just sum it up as Andrew has got no future in any capacity as a member of the Royal Family.”
